Today I did something I normally don’t do. I went jogging after work. Normally I don’t do anything that even remotely resembles exercising (except dancing maybe) on the days that I work, but I spent the whole day at work looking at all the younger guys with their tight muscles and I kept thinking to myself “God I wish I looked like him.” And then I kept telling myself “your never going to get in shape if you don’t start doing something about it”. And so that was the reason I went jogging. I want to lose some weight and buy a weight bench to start working out. I want to see what I can look like with a broad chest, big arms and strong shoulders. I’m tired of being wimpy! I hope this is not just another one of my excercise phases. I’ve been through too many of those. I want to get into a work out routine and stick with it. I can’t afford to pay to go to a gym so I’m gonna have to invest in some equipment of my own. I have a Tony Little Gazelle Glider already and it’s great. I just need to start using it more. I really want a weight bench though so I guess I need to start doing some shopping. Anyway I don’t think I’m gonna go jogging tomorrow because today was the first time I went jogging in a long time and I don’t want to overdo it. I’ll probably just go for a walk or work out on the gazelle for a little bit. And maybe I’ll do some push up’s and sit up’s too. I went to see Iron Man at the theatre tonight. I loved it, and here is my review. Robert Downey Jr., who played Tony Starks (Iron Man) did an excellent job of acting in this movie, even though I don’t know anything about the Marvel Comic character other than what I saw played in this movie. I have to say that Robert Downey Jr was looking pretty hot throughout most of the movie. I don’t know when he started working out but it paid off. Gweneth Paltrow was also enjoyable in the movie as well. I think there is an almost perfect balance between the storyline and action scenes along with the special effects in this movie. There wasn’t a single period of time that I sat in the theatre watching this that I got bored. The whole movie is really good. It is much better than I had anticipated that it would be. I will definitely be wanting to add this movie to my dvd collection when it is released on disc.

Today as I was listening to some remixes I downloaded awhile back (looking for some new tunes to add to my Sansa Fuze), I found this song by the A-Teens called I Promised Myself. It sounded familiar to me but I couldn’t recall when I had heard it before. So I went to the best place I know to find information on things like this besides of course Wikipedia. I found the A-Teens version of the song, but I also found out who did the song before them. There was Nick Kamen’s Version in the 90’s, and Dead Or Alive’s version in the 80’s. I am thinking that I probably most remember the song from the 90’s when Nick Kamen did it because it was around that time that I was really into pop music… well I had always been into pop music for as long as I could remember… but anyway…. I don’t really like the Dead Or Alive version but I’m including all three videos in this post. I kinda like Nick Kamen’s version but I think I like the A-Teens the most out of all three versions. I did find a remix of Nick Kamen’s version on You-Tube as well but I’m not going to put it here. You can look it up for yourself if you want to hear it.

Did they think their credit card application was so precious or fragile that they needed to pack it with bubble wrap? Did they think this would prompt me to actually open it up, fill it out and send it back…… um, no……. I do not do credit cards no matter how carefully they pack their stupid applications. I wish there was a way to stop this shit from coming to my mailbox. I’m gonna start using those return envelopes to send them back an invitation to my site and maybe they will see this post and stop sending me this mess….. or better yet I’m gonna make a homeless person note and start begging them to send me money to buy food with……… anyone think they would send me some money? Knowing my luck they would just double up on the amount of these things they send me.
I have been trying to find this song online forever. Finally thanks to 4gottenTraxxx on You-Tube I have found it. I was hoping for the actual video but I guess this was the best he could do.
