I’m Getting In Shape Part 1
Today I did something I normally don’t do. I went jogging after work. Normally I don’t do anything that even remotely resembles exercising (except dancing maybe) on the days that I work, but I spent the whole day at work looking at all the younger guys with their tight muscles and I kept thinking to myself “God I wish I looked like him.” And then I kept telling myself “your never going to get in shape if you don’t start doing something about it”. And so that was the reason I went jogging. I want to lose some weight and buy a weight bench to start working out. I want to see what I can look like with a broad chest, big arms and strong shoulders. I’m tired of being wimpy! I hope this is not just another one of my excercise phases. I’ve been through too many of those. I want to get into a work out routine and stick with it. I can’t afford to pay to go to a gym so I’m gonna have to invest in some equipment of my own. I have a Tony Little Gazelle Glider already and it’s great. I just need to start using it more. I really want a weight bench though so I guess I need to start doing some shopping. Anyway I don’t think I’m gonna go jogging tomorrow because today was the first time I went jogging in a long time and I don’t want to overdo it. I’ll probably just go for a walk or work out on the gazelle for a little bit. And maybe I’ll do some push up’s and sit up’s too.
