Hey David,

Just looking around a little....read your profile, see that you kayak. I work over at the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Western North Carolina. If you're over this way and you need someone to boat with, I'll grab a duckie and we can float the Nantahala sometime. I'm more of a Class V rafting kind of a guy than a kayaker, but maybe one of these days.

Cheers!

1- No, there is nothing wrong with recycling chats and emails as blog posts.
I didn't have anything to say tonight, so I decided to post a letter from a friend. The only problem was he used these bullet points, and that, combined with some html i used, confused the blog service window something fierce. I think I am going to edit the letter without the bullet points, but that may be too much work.
2- As for loneliness/solitude.... I sense semantic quicksand here.
I have long ago been used to being by myself. Some people have a problem with this.
I am hearing Barbra Streisand singing...People People who need people are the luckiest people in the world.
I hope I spelled that correctly. I could have my gay card revoked for misspelling her name.

Hi chamblee54. Thanks for dropping by my blog again. I was just reading your comment and I guess I was sorta reading between the lines in the first part.... I have to ask, was that meant that I shouldn't have posted that conversation? I was just wondering. I sometimes have the tendency to post things without first thinking about what I'm doing... but then again it's a part of my life which is mostly what this site is about... just things that happen in my life.

My take on loneliness..... at least in that conversation was my way of saying that I found things in my life that keep me busy enough that I don't have to worry about being alone. I am always so busy I hardly ever have time to think about it lol.... and I guess that is a good thing. I think a lot of gay guys.... and well a lot of straight people too, sit around letting life pass them by dwelling on time they could be spending with somebody instead of concentrating on the time they could be spending doing wonderful things and achieving things that make them a better person so that when they do find the right one it all makes everything that much better for both people involved and that was the point I was trying to get across to DesperateJJ.......... does that make sense?

1- Some of my best posts have been recycled chats. I hang out at gay.com and sometimes the mature room gets downright festive. It takes a bit of editing but it is easier than doing all the writing yourself.
Back when I was on blogspot, I had an "alternative" site. Now, all I have is the G rated site. Chats work a lot better as posts in the alternative setting.
2- Your take on loneliness is interesting. Another angle would be the difference between loneliness and solitude.
