Firefox Extensions I Use
Firefox is my favorite web browser. It is so much better than Internet Explorer because you can customize it to do so many things through the use of add-on extensions. This is a list of Firefox extensions I use. I couldn’t imagine surfing the web or doing work online without all this cool stuff.
- Download Statusbar - View and manage downloads from a tidy statusbar - without the download window getting in the way of your web browsing.
- DownThemAll - This is a fun extension. I use it all the time to download mp3’s hosted on Rapidshare (or any other place) since I have a paid account my mp3’s download automatically from them so when I find pages that are all direct mp3 downloads I use this to select the files I want and then let it do all the hard work to download everything. It’s awesome!! The last time I checked, this add-on had a 5 star rating with 402 user reviews and that is amazing.
- FireFTP - There is no better way to upload your webpage files than to use a sharp ftp program that loads up in the same browser you use to surf the web with. This firefox add-on is awesome.
- Image Toolbar - Single-click access to common actions for images (e.g. saving, copying, printing). This extension is intended to provide a replacement for the equivalent toolbar in Internet Explorer.
- ScreenGrab - Grabs a full webpage screenshot and saves it to a picture file. This is very cool. I use this to save knit and crochet patterns and other different things.
- Video DownloadHelper - The easy way to download and convert Web videos from hundreds of YouTube-like sites.
