This strange looking contraption is the Joby Gorillapod. It is a camera tripod which supposedly lets you mount your camera almost anywhere. I could really see this coming in handy. I want one.

About This Site: This is my personal website and blog that I maintain mostly for myself and for my friends who like to keep up with things I do and stay interested in. I started building websites in 1998 after teaching myself HTML. This is my fourth domain. Other domains you may have seen that I previously owned were spunkylee, necksbydavid, and sleepyroot... all dot-com's. The first one, spunkylee, was my first personal domain. The other two that followed were online craft businesses that I maintained. This domain is my second personal website and is the first one I've kept that is completely powered by Wordpress. This website has been online since October 19th, 2007.
